Dr. Lyne Lalonde is full professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal and a researcher at the Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal. She holds the Sanofi-Aventis Endowment Research Chair in Ambulatory Pharmaceutical Care.
Her research program aims to develop and evaluate new health and services approaches involving community pharmacy to improve the management of chronic disease in primary care. She is currently working in the field of cardiovascular disease prevention (TRANSIT study), chronic kidney disease (ProFiL study) and chronic non-cancer pain (AGIR study). She is also responsible for the development and implementation of the STAT Network, a virtual network of pharmacists, decision-makers and researchers involved in primary care. The network is designed to support the development and evaluation of innovative clinical practices in community pharmacy.
