Dr. Kerry Mansell is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan. He received his Bachelor’s in Science in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Washington. He has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 2007.
Kerry works as a clinical pharmacist in the LiveWell for Diabetes Program in the Saskatoon Health Region. His research interests include diabetes, pharmacy practice, and pharmacists prescribing. He and a colleague recently completed a study of pharmacists prescribing for minor ailments in Saskatchewan, and plan to continue studying this for the foreseeable future.
Kerry has been a board member and Chair of the Pharmacists’ Association of Saskatchewan, Board Member of the Canadian Pharmacists Association, and Board Member and Vice President of the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada. He is currently a Canadian Drug Expert Committee member.
