Knowledge translation and exchange team
Kate graduated with a master of information degree from the University of Toronto. Since then, she has worked with community-based and corporate organizations on a diverse set of projects focused on information access and high-level strategy. Kate is particularly interested in how people access health information, mHealth, aging and mobile technologies and how to best translate research into accessible information.
Kate is pursuing a PhD at Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy under the supervision of Kelly Grindrod and Jonathan Blay. She is also a member of OPEN’s Knowledge translation and exchange team, which allows her to combine her research skills in information translation and access with her interest in inclusive understanding of diverse information.
