Research coordinator/assistant, Knowledge translation and exchange team
Karen is a research coordinator/assistant with OPEN’s Knowledge translation and exchange team. In this role, she coordinates various activities, including data collection and analysis, development of dissemination materials, and design and implementation of evaluation activities.
In addition to her role as a research coordinator/assistant, Karen is also a research associate for the Knowledge to Action Processes in Seniors Health Knowledge Network/Alzheimer’s Knowledge Exchange Collaborative Communities of Practice Research Project at the Bruyère Research Institute.
Karen’s interests are in research that aims to improve the well-being of aging Canadians and high-risk populations. Karen has an MA in human kinetics from the University of Ottawa and has been working at the Bruyère Research Institute since September 2013.
