Coordinator of ICES study components, Pharmacists as immunizers project
Giulia has an MSc in pharmacoepidemiology, which she earned while a member of the Cadarette Group at the University of Toronto. Her thesis research centred on a relatively novel observational research study design called the case–crossover. In particular, Giulia examined the use, quality and diffusion of the case–crossover study design across social networks of researchers.
Giulia coordinates the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) components of two OPEN studies — the MedsCheck and Pharmaceutical Opinion Program project and the Pharmacists as immunizers project.
