Elizabeth assists OPEN’s co-leads with the overall management of the research program. She is responsible for tracking program and project activities, as well as deadlines and outcomes. She coordinates communication between program teams and with media, manages logistics and operations and coordinates OPEN events. She also manages ongoing research activities, such as data collection, analysis and dissemination.
Elizabeth is also the research project coordinator of OPEN’s MedsCheck and Pharmaceutical Opinion Program project, a research study that is assessing the effectiveness of several current pharmacist service programs and will benefit greatly from her expertise and experience in managing health research studies. She is also a research coordinator on the Pharmacist prescribing project, a study that’s exploring both existing and potential avenues for pharmacist independent prescribing in Ontario.
Elizabeth received her BA in sociology and social science in medicine from McGill University and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Liverpool.
