Kelly co-leads with James Conklin OPEN’s Knowledge translation and exchange team, a group that works with OPEN’s projects to ensure that their research findings are put into practice.
She also co-leads an applied health research question that will develop a self-audit application for pharmacy practice and is a member of OPEN’s Pharmacist prescribing project.
Kelly is an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy. She is also a licensed and practising pharmacist. Her research includes novel ways to bring research findings to busy medical clinics and pharmacy counters through innovations in mobile technologies.
As a co-lead of the Knowledge translation and exchange team, Kelly is also an ex officio member of OPEN’s Advisory Committee.
Kelly finished her BScPharm at the University of Alberta before completing a hospital pharmacy residency at the London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario and a PharmD at the University of British Columbia. Before her appointment at the University of Waterloo, Kelly was a CIHR- and MSFHR-funded postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, where she studied the delivery of medication management services.
