Dr. Eric Schneider was an Associate Professor and Associate Director, Curriculum and Assessment at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy. He led OPEN’s Pharmacists as immunizers project and was a member of the Pharmacist services evaluation framework project and Capacity-building team.
Before coming to Waterloo, Eric served on the faculty of four family practice residency programs and has taught in the colleges of pharmacy, medicine, and nursing of several universities in the United States. Most recently, Eric was Associate Dean for the College of Pharmacy’s Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In that role he was responsible for student affairs, academic affairs, and faculty affairs and overall implementation of the regional campus. While at the University of Arkansas he also served as faculty in the Area Health Education Center, Northwest Family Medicine residency program in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He has been a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 1992.
Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a clinical pharmacy residency in family medicine.
In June 2015 Eric accepted a position as Professor and Assistant Dean, Academics in the School of Pharmacy at Wingate University in North Carolina.
