Agnes Kluz, BSc, MD, CCFP
Co-lead, Opioid Education Partnership
Agnes Kluz is a co-lead of the Opioid Education Partnership as well as a rural family physician who provides comprehensive care at the Huron Community Family Health Team to patients in Seaforth, Ontario and the surrounding region.
She is also the Chair of Rural Senior Wellness as well as a Board Member at the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health, a community-driven rural health research institute in Canada the goal of which is to improve the health and quality of life of rural residents through research, education and communication. Through these clinical and leadership positions, Agnes provides patient care while supporting evidence-based change within Ontario’s healthcare system.
As a co-lead of the Opioid Education Partnership, Agnes is facilitating interdisciplinary learning while bringing together healthcare providers through shared educational opportunities for safer opioid prescribing, treatment and management.
