Ms. Charlebois is a patient-focused leader and is passionate about improving healthcare services across the continuum of care. As a nurse and certified health executive, her experience in the implementation and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) systems are of particular value in providing the required leadership to promote patient safety, clinical engagement and the effective use of technology in practice.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, she provides national leadership to facilitate clinical engagement, advance best practices in the adoption of ICT and supports the measurement and realization of benefits through an integrated approach to change management, benefits evaluation and knowledge translation.

In addition, she has previously held senior leadership positions, including Vice President & Chief Nursing Executive at Rouge Valley Health System; Director Emergency, Ambulatory and Critical Care at Markham Stouffville Hospital; Director Client Services at York Region Community Care Access Centre; Corporate Director and Strategic Business Lead at Leisureworld, Long Term Care facilities and Senior Business Lead for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Continuing Care eHealth division.

Ms. Charlebois has also served as a surveyor with Accreditation Canada for six years and is a past board member on Canada’s Health Informatics Association, the Canadian Virtual Health Library and the Canadian College of Health Service Executives Toronto GTA Chapter.

Ms. Charlebois holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto; a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Nursing and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
